A Cultural Paradise Here are some "Arts" websites in Falmouth to help your search: Arts-Cape.com introduces local artists and organizations, FCTV Ch.13 is our community television station that offers opportunities to learn TV programming, directing and technical skills and also provides the Maser Gallery for artists to exhibit their work, Connect provides a comprehensive artist directory, an updated cultural calendar and other useful cultural information, the Falmouth Artists Guild is a community art center, offers classes, exhibitions, and lectures all year long, Jan Collins Selman Gallery is also open year round and offers the work many award wining artists, the Falmouth Theatre Guild, produces several shows each year in Highfield Theatre, the Falmouth Historical Society and the Woods Hole Historical Collection are open year round, the Cape Cod Conservatory is located in Barnstable and Falmouth, the Cape Cod Theatre Project returns to Falmouth for it's 2008 summer season, Cape Cod Potters is a cape-wide cooperative, Highfield Hall is a community cultural center offering a wide variety of activities year round, Day Hill Studio Fine Art is an elegant gallery in North Falmouth featuring Cape Cod prints and a variety of fine arts originals by several talented artists, and David Kelley Originals offers original wildlife prints perfect for children's rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, plus medical and scientific illustration.  These nearby art centers offer great classes and top notch exhibitions all year long. The Cape Cod Art Association is in Barnstable on Cape Cod, the Duxbury Art Association is on the south shore of Boston north of Plymouth, and the South Shore Art Center is in Cohasset between Hingham and Scituate. WHAT'S HAPPENING IN FALMOUTH
 Upcoming Events The Falmouth Artists Guild will be presenting a masquerade CHAIR-ity bash on Friday, October 26th from 7:30 - 10:30 pm at Highfield Hall. This will be a very creative fun party and a great social event. For information, please contact the Falmouth Artists Guild at (508) 540-3304, www.falmouthart.org, or FALMOUTH is a very busy place year round with various organizations, social, art and cultural activities and will be even more so when the Falmouth Artists Guild gets a new building. Right now, that's keeping a lot of us busy between its regular activities and fund raising. Recent Activities
Recent activities are included here to give you an idea of "what happens" in Falmouth and also something to look forward to later on. MEMBERS SHOW - To see and enjoy some nice and varied work, the Summer Members Show is currently on display at the Falmouth Artists Guild, through September 16th. Hours are Tues - Fri from 9:30 to 4:00 PM, and weekends from noon - 4:00 PM. The Guild is located at 311 rear Main Street, Falmouth. Call 508 540-3304 for info. Their website is artsfalmouth.org.
